About The Gentle Line
Who Is The Gentle Line?
I'm a solo trainer and founder who believes everyone in a position to help deserves to feel equipped — not just informed. This work exists because too many people have sat in rooms where suicide or bereavement was mentioned in a handout but never properly discussed. I built The Gentle Line to create a different kind of space: reflective, human, and honest.

Our Approach
Our training is reflective and discussion-based. We don't do clinical lectures or tick-sheet interventions. We create space for real conversation, honest questions, and the kind of learning that sticks because it's been thought through — not handed down.
Everything we deliver is trauma-informed. We understand that people come to this training from different places: some with professional roles, some with lived experience, many with both. We design our sessions so everyone can participate safely and meaningfully. We never presume, never pathologise, and never make anyone speak before they're ready.

“Most training tells you what to do. This helps you understand why — and gives you the confidence to actually do it.”
