Overview & Approach

The session explores how to recognise potential warning signs, understand some of the factors that may contribute to suicidal distress, and how to respond safely and compassionately.

Using discussion, structured questioning, and scenario-based learning, participants are supported to explore the topic in a thoughtful and practical way. Even for those who have previously attended suicide prevention training, the session aims to deepen understanding and build confidence through reflective discussion and guided questioning.

No prior knowledge or professional background is required.
